The wear blue Gold Star Race Program

Who is eligible for the program?

A Gold Star family member is someone who has lost a loved one as a result of a service-related injury or illness while serving in the US military (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, Space Force). We adhere to the federal regulatory definition of a Gold Star family member, which is limited to parents, spouses, siblings, and children of fallen service members.

Applications to the Gold Star Race Program are open to spouses, parents, children, and siblings of those who have died while in service of the United States military.

What is the goal of the Gold Star Race Program?

Family members who have sacrificed all in military service to our nation deserve the opportunity to heal and thrive. wear blue is a testament to the amazing healing power that running as a community can provide.

The goal of the Gold Star Race Program is to support, through the power of the run, the journeys of Gold Star family members.  We seek to help the athletes tap further into their abundant reservoirs of courage, determination and hope.  We support them as a running community and we honor equally both them and their lost loved ones.
