Volunteer

wear blue: run to remember relies heavily on the dedication and passion of our volunteers nationwide. Their selfless commitment to supporting the families of the fallen and honoring their loved ones is the heartbeat of our community. From organizing local runs to holding flags on our wear blue Miles, our volunteers ensure that we never forget the sacrifices made by our military heroes.

On designated race days, tribute wear blue Mile volunteers line a mile of the course holding American flags with names of fallen service members embroidered onto attached ribbons. Faces of the Fallen Tribute Posters with the name and image of each fallen military member line the stretch leading up to the flags.
